Racing Today

I have a couple of good runners today in Tardy Lightning running in a $75 Claimer at Saratoga and Shnook in a Maiden Special Weight at Del Mar. Both horses were picked up in the last auction and both are working extremely well. I am expecting both to run well, although the race at Saratoga came up a bit tough, but both should still run well. I am not sure if Shnook wants to go a mile, but we will see. His work tells me he fits here.

I will also find out more about Tardy Lightning as his previous trainer was running this horse at a much lower level. I believ the horse belongs here and the race today will tell me more.

I was happy to see my horse named Lanfranco win his maiden yesterday at Saratoga. It's always good to win a race at the big track. Maybe now I can get a couple more wins out of him. I think he wants to sprint and I finally got his equipment figured out.

Secret Agent Man running tomorrow in a Starter Allowance at Saratoga, but if I knew the race would get 5 runners I would have stayed out. I don't believ his meters will be green green, but he should still run well. I am still deciding on what instructions o use. He's used two different sets in his last two victories. I will probably decide tomorrow as I study the Racing Form some more.
