Not much going on today for me on the track. I had a couple runners yesterday in Boom Crash Opera and Soldier of Rome. I really expected Boom Crash Opera to run better, but I might have used the wrong instructions. The field was also a tough veteran field. Boom Crash Opera was claimed away from me by Alabarda and I hope he has some success with the horse, as he's still only a 3yo. I was thinking that the horse needed a distance of ground.
Soldier of Rome has lost a step and making his 2nd start of the year did well to get third. Maybe it's time to retire this one. I will try one more time to see if he can get a win.
I have got Time Curve in a Maiden $100 Claimer tomorrow at Del Mar and I am thinking of scratching. The race came up tough as I see three other filles in there can can beat her. I will be lucky to get third or fourth in this race.
